Who We Are
& What We Do

Low hour demo and off lease equipment specialists.

Equipment is our calling; it’s what we’re cut out to do and what we’ve been doing since 1987. During our 30+ years in operation, we’ve renewed and reconditioned turf equipment, and even manufactured our own parts and equipment. We’ve seen it all, reconditioning Toro, Jacobsen, John Deere, Cushman, Ryan, Smithco, Club Car and almost every other make and model, all from our 6000 square foot shop in Surrey, BC. Today, Terra Equipment is BC’s only company specializing in the sale of low hour demo and off lease equipment.

A large inventory of pre-owned turf equipment.

Our team specializes in remanufacturing, reconditioning, and selling new and used turf equipment for golf courses, athletic parks, universities, municipal parks boards, school boards, and lawn bowling clubs. We carry numerous pieces of low hour equipment and if we don’t have what you need in our yard, we can find it. We have access to equipment from across North America and our team can quickly locate the turf equipment you’re looking for. We work with several lease companies to provide you with the best and most cost effective solution for your turf equipment purchases.

Maintaining Your Rollers

One of the most frustrating components of turf equipment maintenance has to be rollers. It is a constant battle to keep the lubrication in and dirt and/or contaminants out. There have to be hundreds of suppliers manufacturing rollers with bearings, without bearings, rollers made of high impact plastics, rollers that are composed of solid steel, rollers with inner seals, rollers with water pump bearings, tapered bearings and ball bearings. Meaning, there is no easy solution to keeping the roller bearings from premature failure.

Our solution is based on the labour and parts required to repair the roller versus the downtime. If the roller requires all seals, bearings, and a shaft, we have a replacement bearing that is an inexpensive retrofit. This ball bearing will install in most rollers in place of the taper bearings. It is sealed and forgiving enough to allow you to quickly repair your worn shaft. We have found in most cases that this ball bearing will last the season without any greasing, allowing the tech to deal with the replacement issue in the offseason.
